Hi, I’m Julia! A Los Angeles-based artist and entrepreneur with a passion for abstract landscapes. I've been painting with acrylics for over a decade, creating works that reflect the world around us. Originally from New Jersey, my journey has taken me coast to coast, starting in New York and ending in California. While I studied business and visual arts in school, much of what I’ve learned about painting came from years of experimenting and letting curiosity guide my hand.
I've traveled and lived in cities all over the world that have inspired and expanded the way I see things. London made me appreciate how the rain makes a city feel. Paris had me falling in love with small moments alone. Sydney gave me the courage to say yes to the unknown and embrace it.
Art has always been my way of exploring, and my style has evolved over the years. To me, art transcends cultural, social, and economic boundaries—it's integral to the human spirit and has connected us to one another since the dawn of time.
Today, my art reflects the deep connection I feel with my environment. Moving to California in 2020 marked a pivotal moment in my creative journey, sparking a shift in my style and color palettes. The sunsets that dance across the sky, the intricate layers of flowers, and the way light refracts through clouds—all these moments of natural beauty inspire my work. My rich, layered palettes aim to capture the emotions these scenes evoke: peace, wonder, and awe.
